Hiking the Nakasendo Trail (Nakasendo Way) between Tsumago-juku and Magome-juku is a good way to spend your time. This is the highlight of Nakasendo. Part of the route remains exactly the same way it was in the old days. Slip back in the times of the Edo period.
Total length of the hiking course is 9 kilometers, and would take around 3-4 hours to complete. If there is snow, you may need considerably longer hours. So please be prepared if you like to walk Nakasendo Way in winter.
It is possible to take this tour from Nagoya. Hotel pick up in Nagoya City is available.
